Day 10 - Painted Rock Campground, Colonsay, Saskatchewan

What a fantastic two days we had at Riding Mountain National Park. Driving towards the north entrance we started to descend. The view was amazing but no animals were spotted.

We finally enter Saskatchewan.
At times the scenery was stunning and other times it was flat and boring just like the sign above.
Grain elevators fascinate me. This one is ancient but still standing.

We reach Painted Rock Campground after 307 miles or 495 kms. What a very long day. We set up camp and then indulged in a much needed adult beverage.

I took this picture for two reasons. Firstly, the birds are purple martins and secondly, look at the terrain behind the birds. Now that's flat.
