We had made plans to walk around downtown Fairbanks but that didn't materialize because it was pouring rain. So we decided to do our last minute grocery shopping at the local Walmart.
After grocery shopping the skies clear and it turned out to be a beautiful day. There is nothing wrong with having a down day so that is exactly what we did.
At 5 pm we left to go to the Alaska Salmon Bake. I forgot my camera so no pictures but trust me the food was absolutely amazing. I ate way to much just like everyone else in our group. Tomorrow we are heading to Denali National Park, can't wait.
