Erie KOA

Well it's our last full day of travel before we get home. Are we sad, yes but all great things must come to an end. My only saving grace is in knowing that travel will happen again in a couple of months. As we left the campground I had mapped out our route the night before so I knew how far the I-71 was. We hadn't disconnected so up and out, too easy. The weather was fantastic another cool but sunny day. We decided that driving all the way home from Cincinnati is too long so Erie seemed to be a logical place to pull in for the night. We have driven the distance from Cincinnati to home before but were exhausted by the time we got there. This way we get there early. I have time to connect the water, flush the lines, unpack some of the rig, and so on and so on and so on.

The drive was unremarkable. We decided on the Erie KOA based on RV Parks Review and also it's close proximity to the I-90. As we pulled in it appeared they were opening for the season. Lots of renovations underway.

Our Site #24
We were escorted to our site by a very nice gentleman. This park had all the amenities you could ask for. The usual plus cable, free WiFi (fast), a fishing pond, a very well stocked store, and nice level spacious sites. The only complaint I had was the road noise. From what I understand from the owner it only gets worse during the summer.
